Catherine brings the experience of over 20 years of massage practice. She is trained as a Medical Massage Therapist, versed in applying soft tissue techniques to treat acute trauma, pre/post surgery and chronic pain management. Catherine’s course of study has covered Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Pre/Post-Natal, and Watsu. Over the years, she has teamed with medical practices, fitness facilities and exclusive spas – whatever it takes to help people feel the most comfortable in what she believes to be an already perfect machine: the human body.
The application of her skills is best described as a tailored blend of deep tissue techniques, applied in noninvasive ways. This allows the central nervous system to relax, encouraging and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
